The manual is designed in accordance with the syllabus of the academic discipline «Theory and practice of translation». It is aimed at the translator training during the practical in-class activities. The manual is divided into thematic modules that focus on different skills and abilities with the intention to advance student’s translation competence. The manual is intended for bachelor students of specialty «Applied Linguistics» as didactic material. It may be useful for all those who teach or practice translation for professional purposes as well as amateur learners for self-education, especially in the sphere of at sight interpreting.
